At White Internet Consulting, I aim to make working together straightforward.
These Terms of Service explain how I operate, what you can expect from me and what I expect from you.
By engaging White Internet Consulting, you agree to these terms.
This reflects my people before technology approach: clear communication, practical expectations and respectful working relationships.
1. Acceptance of terms
By using my services, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms of Service.
If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the services.
2. Services provided
White Internet Consulting provides technology consulting and advisory services, which may include:
- Agile coaching.
- Fractional CTO services.
- Tech hiring advice.
- Leadership growth programs.
- Mentorship programs.
- Project management.
- IT strategy and governance.
In these terms, “I”, “we”, “us”, “White Internet Consulting” and “White Internet” refer to Iain White and any associated consultants engaged to deliver services.
3. Payment terms
All services are provided subject to agreed fees, confirmed in writing.
This may include an email, proposal, statement of work or invoice.
- Invoicing: invoices are issued on service completion or according to the agreed billing schedule.
- Payment due date: payments are due within 15 days of the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Late payments: late payments may incur a fee of 5% per month on the outstanding balance.
4. Confidentiality
I treat confidentiality seriously.
Client information will be kept confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties without your consent.
Exceptions may apply where disclosure is required by law or necessary to deliver the services.
For example, this may include using trusted service providers.
5. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- Intellectual property created during service delivery remains the property of White Internet Consulting until full payment is received.
- This may include reports, documents, frameworks, strategies and templates.
- Once payment is received, the client receives a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the deliverables for internal business purposes.
6. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, White Internet Consulting is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the services.
Our total liability for any claim related to the services will not exceed the fees paid by the client for the services that gave rise to the claim.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate an engagement with 30 days’ written notice, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
The client agrees to pay for all services delivered up to the termination date.
This includes any committed work in progress.
8. Governing law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
9. Amendments
These Terms of Service may be updated from time to time.
If significant changes are made, reasonable steps will be taken to notify clients.
Continued use of the services after updates take effect means you accept the amended terms.
